The Oak Hills Highlanders had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Mercy McAuley by a score of 33-25 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oak Hills also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Mercy McAuley still got an impressive performance from Bella Maxfield, who scored 7 points.
Oak Hills' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Mercy McAuley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Oak Hills will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Healthy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mercy McAuley, they will be playing at home against Indian Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
