Last Monday, everything went St. Johns' way against St. Michael as St. Johns made off with a 69-43 victory.
St. Johns had a senior duo take command as Kayme Smith scored 15 points and Ellie Heap scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds. The game was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Willis, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Many Farms suffered a tough 51-27 loss at the hands of Ganado on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Many Farms in their matchups with Ganado: they've now lost nine in a row.
St. Johns now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Many Farms, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
St. Johns took their win against Many Farms in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 48-23. Does St. Johns have another victory up their sleeve, or will Many Farms turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
