Union County has gone a perfect 9-0 against Tri recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tri didn't have quite enough to beat Randolph Southern on Monday and fell 6-5.

At the plate, Patrick Baker was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Masyn Chalfant, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Union County's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Tri, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Tri's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Union County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. It's a different story for Tri, though, as they've only averaged .201. Will they be able to contain Union County's hitters?
