If Lakes wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grayslake Central, they should've done a better job of containing Evan Page. The Rams walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Page, who had ten digs and four aces. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played.

While Grayslake Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17.

Grayslake Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. As for Lakes, they dropped their record down to 14-18 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Grayslake Central will host Buffalo Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakes, they will head out to face off against Warren Township at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
