Basketball Recap: Farmington Piles Up the Points Against Nute

There's no place like home for Farmington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their match on Monday with ease, bagging a 76-19 win over the Nute Rams. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Farmington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Nute, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Farmington will square off against Newmarket at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Newmarket will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Farmington surely won't give up without a fight. Nute has already played their next match (against Wilton-Lyndeborough), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
