Academy of the Holy Names' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Gavin, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Castro, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Academy of the Holy Names' victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for The Rock, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Academy of the Holy Names is on the road again on Thursday and play against Tampa Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. As for The Rock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawthorne at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
