The Carolina Academy Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Southside Christian Sabres at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with 11 straight losses, while Southside Christian will come in with six straight victories.
Carolina Academy couldn't beat Greenville Tech Charter on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Trojans came up short against the Warriors, falling 18-8.

That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Stelios Karambasis, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Southside Christian made easy work of Asheville Christian Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 15-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Sabres, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Reeves Israel and Tyler Bolemon did most of the damage at the plate: Israel went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Bolemon went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave Bolemon a new career-high. Kaden Graham was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Southside Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.
Southside Christian pushed their record up to 18-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Carolina Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Carolina Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433.
