The Blind Brook Trojans are taking a road trip to  challenge the Pleasantville Panthers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Blind Brook earned  a  6-3 win over The Leffell School. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Trojans.
 Elliott Zwicker made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Zwicker was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.

 In other pitching news,  Alex Schneider looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jack Pastor, who  scored a  run and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Robberto Cuesta IV, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
 Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  game, Pleasantville made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Sleepy Hollow  on Saturday. The Panthers were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Horsemen.
 Pleasantville now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Blind Brook, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
 Blind Brook skirted past Pleasantville  1-0 in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
