The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Central will take on Caldwell at home at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Central will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Caldwell will be their toughest opponent yet.
After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Sedan, Central were happy to find some success last Friday. Central walked away with a 32-20 win over Cedar Vale/Dexter.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Caldwell and Medicine Lodge was still a pretty decisive one as Caldwell wrapped it up with a 38-20 victory. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (32) and coasted on those for the victory.
Central took a serious blow against Caldwell the last time the two teams met, falling 6-56. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
