Laney posted their closest victory since August 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Josey Eagles 2-1. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Eagles on their court since August 30, 2016.

The win got Laney back to even at 1-1. As for Josey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Laney and Josey will both be playing Davidson Fine Arts the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
