Hudson had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.6 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They blew past the Roosevelt Rough Riders 57-32. The Explorers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Hudson's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points over those games. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Coming up, Hudson will face off against Western Reserve Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Firestone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
