St. Mark won against Roxbury Latin on Saturday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three games in a row.

St. Mark's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Noble & Greenough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

St. Mark's and Noble & Greenough should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Lions (ranked seventh) will meet Cushing Academy (ranked 60th) at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Noble & Greenough will face off against St. George's at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (17 vs. 77).
