Meanwhile, Beaufort hadn't done well against May River recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Beaufort managed a 32-28 victory over May River.
Hilton Head Island better focus on containing Jania Hayward and Carson Crosby as the pair were huge in Beaufort's win. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hayward has scored at least a third of Beaufort's points.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Hilton Head Island has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 31.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Beaufort struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Hilton Head Island strolled past Beaufort in their previous meeting back in February of 2022 by a score of 48-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hilton Head Island since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
