Walkertown is 7-2 against T.W. Andrews since November of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Walkertown Wolfpack will head out on the road to take on the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Walkertown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully T.W. Andrews likes a good challenge.
Even though Morehead scored an imposing 74 points on Friday, Walkertown still came out on top. Walkertown walked away with an 84-74 win over Morehead.
It was another big night for Jaden Tyson, who scored 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jaylen Wilkerson was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, T.W. Andrews scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They skirted past Morehead 78-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Walkertown has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
Walkertown came out on top in a nail-biter against T.W. Andrews in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 57-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walkertown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
