El Dorado is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Del Valle is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Aztecs will host the Conquistadores at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
El Dorado will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Hanks, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Aztecs came out on top against the Knights by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Aztecs have beaten the Knights on their field since February 18, 2017.

Mia Davis was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Matsuda, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
El Dorado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hanks only posted an OBP of .355.
Meanwhile, Del Valle had just enough and edged out Hanks 8-7 on Saturday.
The team relied heavily on Briyana Medina, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Gutierrez, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Del Valle is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-10-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for El Dorado, their victory bumped their record up to 20-8.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. El Dorado hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .455. However, it's not like Del Valle struggles in that department as they've averaged .437. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
