Oberlin moved up to 527 from 569 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Patriot - Stripes. The The Phoenix were able to make the jump by beating the The Phoenix 14-6.
Columbia extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oberlin, 14-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Raiders.
Clearview's dynamic duo of Roger Engle and Gerrell Williams proved tough for Fairview to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Engle threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns and Williams had 175 yards receiving. Ryan Vargo helped Clearview's passing attack out by catching five balls for 57 yards.
Jacob Kleinhenz was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 28 carries, he ran for 149 yards as Columbia defeated the Warriors. Tristen Rindfleisch also contributed to the rushing game with 69 yards on the ground.
Clearview's Engle and Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Patriot - Stripes in both passing and receiving yards. Engle has thrown for 1034 yards this season, while Williams has 19 catches for 458 yards. Kalif Townsel from Fred Howery's team leads the league in rushing with 898 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the The Phoenix take on Mike Collier's team. At the moment, Oberlin is in first, while the Clippers are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when the The Phoenix and Clearview face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Oberlin comes in having scored 156 this season, while the Clippers have scored 166. The The Phoenix scored 6 points last week as they fell to Jason Ward's team.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lutheran West takes on the Raiders. The Longhorns have allowed 94 points this season, while Columbia has given up 53.
Clearview and Fairview played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Clearview eventually emerging with a 32-27 victory. Engle ran for nine yards in the win.
