The Sky View Bobcats lost against the Logan Grizzlies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Sky View took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Logan. While losing is never fun, Sky View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Logan is ranked 16th).
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Liam Guthrie, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Oxborrow, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Sky View has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Logan, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Sky View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-43 loss vs. Ridgeline on the 9th. Logan has also already played their next contest, a 62-59 defeat against Green Canyon on the 9th.
