With a playoff game on the line, the Coffee Trojans rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Hurricanes with points to spare, taking the game 33-18. Coffee's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
It was another big night for Fred Brown, who rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Coffee's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Cartersville, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-1.
Coffee will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Creekside at 4:00 p.m. on December 13th. Creekside will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. Cartersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
