With a playoff game on the line, the Coffee Trojans rose to the challenge  on Friday. They strolled past the Hurricanes with  points to spare, taking the game  33-18. Coffee's  win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
 It was another big night for  Fred Brown, who rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Brown is absolutely dominating the  rushing yard category: he's  posted at least 100 every time he's  taken the field this season.  Patrick Mccall did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 92 receiving yards and  a touchdown.
 When it comes to explaining why Cartersville lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Khristian Lando. Despite the final result, he rushed for 162 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Lando was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash  that went for 58 yards.
 Coffee's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Cartersville, their loss  ended a 14-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 13-1.
 Coffee will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Creekside at 4:00  p.m.  on December 13th. Creekside will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. Cartersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
