After losing to The Franklin Quakers the last time they met, the Ingraham Rams decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Ingraham won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Franklin 21-20.
Franklin's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sir Tuck, who rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns, and Bubba Banks who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Ingraham's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingraham will take on Nathan Hale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside comes in on a streak of failing to score more than nine points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
