Nebraska Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They fell 52-40 to Sutton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nebraska Christian has scored all season.
Nebraska Christian's defeat came about despite a quality game from Micah Perdew, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The game was Perdew's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Bashige, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, St. Francis was able to grind out a solid win over Fullerton on Saturday, taking the game 62-53.
Nebraska Christian bumped their record down to 2-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Nebraska Christian beat St. Francis 69-56 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Nebraska Christian repeat their success, or does St. Francis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
