Christian Brothers extended the longest winning streak in Metro Catholic this week by beating Ritenour, 54-35. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Chaminade made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,572 from 5,846.
Christian Brothers' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cadets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Creath has thrown for 2447 yards and 28 touchdowns this season, while Aarion Penton has 45 catches for 714 yards. Jonathan Parker leads the league in rushing with 1071 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Christian Brothers and DeSmet Jesuit. Scott Pingel's team enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while the Spartans ranks 23rd.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Cadets take on DeSmet Jesuit. Christian Brothers has allowed 106 points this season, while Pat Mahoney's team has given up 181. The Cadets allowed 35 points last week as they topped the Huskies.
