Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denver South Ravens.
 Pomona started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-20,  25-17.
 Ian Metzler paced Pomona's offense, picking up eight kills. Metzler got some help from  Mitchell Cox and his 22 assists. Finally,  Dominic Sanders kept Pomona's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Denver South, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
 Pomona has  already played their next  contest (against Centaurus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Denver South will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers'  match: after the Panthers faces off against the Warriors, they'll take on Denver South again  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
