The Kennard-Dale Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Dover, falling 54-21. Kennard-Dale has struggled against Dover recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Aric Campbell got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 256 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Dover also got a significant boost from Brayden Speelman, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
Kennard-Dale's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-1 Lampeter-Strasburg and 7-2 Eastern York (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.7% over those games). As for Dover, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennard-Dale will take on Susquehannock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dover, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against West York Area at 7:00 p.m. West York Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Dover is ranked 215th).
