Baseball Recap: Sumner's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Sumner Cowboys came up short against the Episcopal Knights on Saturday and fell 6-3.

Sumner's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11. As for Episcopal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sumner will challenge Albany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Episcopal, they will head out to face off against Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
