Despite the defeat, Twin Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Brown almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Steve Oyer was another key player, putting up five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
The win got Twinfield back to even at 1-1.
