Kinkaid won against Rockport-Fulton last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Everything went the Falcons' way against the Second Baptist Eagles as they made off with a 42-17 win. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Ross Wynne threw for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Wayne Shanks, Jr. was his top target, picking up 64 receiving yards and one score.

Kinkaid now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Second Baptist, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Kinkaid will host St. Mark's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Falcons come in on three and the Lions on four. As for Second Baptist, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lutheran South Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
