Despite their defeat, Mt. Carmel saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tyler Humphrey, who posted 11 points along with six rebounds and three blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Humphrey is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaine Raagas, who put up 13 points.
Meanwhile, Helix came into Tuesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 49-45 win over Southwest SD on Tuesday.
