Pembroke's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Liss, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Seneca Calderon, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Albion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Pembroke, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albion will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
