The Fallbrook Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Ramona Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ramona took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fallbrook, who comes in off a win.
Fallbrook had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Mt. Carmel 42-21.
It was another big night for Chris Bausch, who rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Fallbrook also got a significant boost from Jackson Christopherson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.
Meanwhile, Ramona ended up a good deal behind Del Norte on Friday and lost 42-28. Ramona has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Fallbrook strolled past Ramona when the teams last played back in September of 2022 by a score of 24-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fallbrook since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
