Columbia Academy took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over Grace Christian Academy. The result was nothing new for Columbia Academy, who have now won five matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Columbia Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Montae Baldwin led the charge by rushing for 231 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Baldwin is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Connor Rosson, who threw for 208 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Columbia Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Grace Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.
