Julian is 0-4 against Escondido Adventist Academy since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Julian Eagles will be playing at home against the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Julian's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Escondido Adventist Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Julian won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by Bonsall on the road and fell 72-29. Julian has struggled against Bonsall recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Carlo Martinez, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Max Cruz, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Escondido Adventist Academy ended up a good deal behind Guajome Park Academy on Wednesday and lost 61-45.
Julian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
Julian came up short against Escondido Adventist Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, falling 62-49. Can Julian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
