It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shaler Area had no problem doing just that  on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Conestoga Valley Buckskins  a   4-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
The result came thanks to  Colby Weber's shutout, as he gave up just a  hit.
 On the hitting side,  Troy Leas was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ben Yeckel, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
Shaler Area's record is now 17-6. As for Conestoga Valley,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-11-1.
As of now, neither Shaler Area nor the Buckskins have any future games scheduled.
