The Hume-Fogg Blue Knights stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Valor College Prep 57-21 at home. The victory was nothing new for Hume-Fogg as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Alonzo Rhodes was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Nwoye was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Hume-Fogg is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Valor College Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hume-Fogg will take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Maplewood is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Valor College Prep, they will be playing at home against the Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
