Lancaster-Lebanon 3 recap November 5, 2013
Annville-Cleona scaled the state rankings by moving to 390 from 421 this week, the biggest jump in Lancaster-Lebanon 3. The Dutchmen climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Donegal 27-0.
Garden Spot extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Pequea Valley, 56-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Mitch Rodkey threw for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 11-14 with 0 interceptions.
Michael Figueroa was the best wideout in the league this week as the Braves lost to Garden Spot. Figueroa racked up 8 receptions for 123 yards. Gabriel Allgyer helped Pequea Valley's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 30 yards.
On the heels of Jeff Martin and Cameron Strause, Eastern Lebanon County has had great success on offense. Martin leads the league in passing with 2,109 yards, while Strause has rushed for 1,145 yards this season. Pequea Valley's Figueroa leads the league in receiving yards with 637 on 44 catches.
In 114 carries Jarrod Smith has put up 921 yards this year.
Evan Breisblatt's team lost to Matt Zamperini's team 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hunter Smith was a bright spot for the Braves, as he threw for 181 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 40 yards in the loss.
