Breiton Whitmire Goes Supernova in Cedar Catholic Victory
Cedar Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Breiton Whitmire. Whitmire was unstoppable, rushing for 160 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
For the season, Whitmire has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 108.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns.

Sylas Nelson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Sylas Nelson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Oakland-Craig over Cedar Catholic on Friday. Nelson rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Oakland-Craig's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. Nelson and Oakland-Craig will welcome West Point-Beemer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Isaak Maxwell Makes It Two for Oakland-Craig
