Misa Garris and Za'Miya Bynum were among the main playmakers for Queen's Grant as the former went 17 of 26 on her way to 42 points in addition to five assists and five steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 steals. The game was Bynum's 17th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Smith, who posted seven points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Valor Preparatory Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 50-25 to Piedmont Community Charter. The Owls were down 44-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
