The Arapahoe Warriors lost against the Cambridge Trojans back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Arapahoe fell 48-40 to Cambridge. Arapahoe has struggled against Cambridge recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Arapahoe lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being William Cacy, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Trenton Roskop, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Carson Trompke was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six assists and five rebounds for Cambridge. Brohdey Wood was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds.
Arapahoe has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Cambridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Arapahoe's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southern Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Southern Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Cambridge, they will face off against Alma at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
