Calhoun City won the last time they faced West Bolivar, and things went their way on Friday, too. Calhoun City took their match against West Bolivar by a conclusive 28-0 score. The Calhoun City offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Senior Anfernee Campbell, who rushed for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Calhoun City's success.
The win got Calhoun City back to even at 2-2. West Bolivar are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Calhoun City will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Water Valley. As for West Bolivar, they will face off against Leland. West Bolivar come in off of 4 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
