The Randolph Campus Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Hunter College Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Randolph Campus has four straight victories, Hunter College has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Randolph Campus has not done well against Environmental recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Randolph Campus blew past Environmental, posting a 81-46 victory at home. Randolph Campus' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hunter College came up short against Math Science & Engineering on Wednesday and fell 40-33.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Noah Kay, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Andrew Choy was another key contributor, scoring three points along with nine steals.
Randolph Campus' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Hunter College, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
