Gettysburg is 0-4 against Hershey since April of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 4:15 p.m. Gettysburg has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fallon Jackson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Sierra Shepherd was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Hershey was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Elizabethtown, falling 9-2.
Payton Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Ebert, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Gettysburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Gettysburg's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Hershey, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Gettysburg continue to outrun the ball?
Gettysburg might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Hershey in their previous meeting on April 1st. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
