After two games on the road, North Clarion is heading back home. They will take on the Karns City Gremlins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Clarion will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the Gremlins are ranked 202nd).
Last Monday, North Clarion came up short against the Elker and fell 49-39.
Meanwhile, even though Brookville scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, Karns City still came out on top. Karns City enjoyed a cozy 74-60 victory over the Raiders. The win made it back-to-back wins for Karns City.
North Clarion has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Karns City, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
North Clarion came up short against the Gremlins in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 64-55. Can North Clarion avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
