Glenelg had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Centennial 37-0. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Glenelg are ranked far ahead of Centennial in the MaxPreps state rankings. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Glenelg will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Howard at 7:00 PM. Centennial are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Marriotts Ridge next week at 7:00 PM.
