West Feliciana has been on the road for 15 straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Plaquemine Green Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plaquemine took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Feliciana, who comes in off a win.
West Feliciana posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They blew past Broadmoor 51-17 on the road. The victory was just what West Feliciana needed coming off of a 68-27 defeat in their prior contest.
West Feliciana found their leader in underclassman Sanaya Berry, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Berry pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Arieonia Ebbs, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Plaquemine, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-43 loss to White Castle on Saturday.
West Feliciana's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Plaquemine, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
West Feliciana strolled past Plaquemine in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 51-35. Does West Feliciana have another victory up their sleeve, or will Plaquemine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
