It was all tied up at the half for Capital Christian Academy and National Collegiate Prep last Saturday, but Capital Christian Academy stepped up in the second half. Capital Christian Academy were the clear victor by a 38-9 margin over National Collegiate Prep. Followers of Capital Christian Academy probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Anacostia made easy work of Cardozo and carried off a 49-16 victory. Anacostia were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Capital Christian Academy to 4-4 and Anacostia to 3-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
