The LaSalle Royal Lions won against the Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda last Friday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. LaSalle blew past Don Soffer Aventura 69-8 at home. That 61 points margin sets a new team best for LaSalle this season.
LaSalle found their leader in underclassman Alexandra Gonzalez casar, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Gonzalez casar is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Candy Cruz, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
When it comes to explaining why Don Soffer Aventura lost, one person who can't be blamed is Liana Kozko. Despite the final result, she scored eight points. That was a full 100% of Don Soffer Aventura's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
LaSalle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Don Soffer Aventura, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
