In what's become a running theme this season, the Landrum Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Greer Middle College 72-16 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Landrum who now have six in a row.
Kaylee Cortez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten steals. Cortez is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Savannah Brown, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Landrum is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Greer Middle College, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
Landrum will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chapman at 6:00 p.m. Greer Middle College does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
