The Badger Braves stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Harding 61-6 on the road. The win was nothing new for Badger as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Katie Grexa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with eight steals and six assists. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Avery Rice was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Badger pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Harding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badger will take on Rootstown at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rootstown presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Badger in Ohio (Rootstown is ranked 69th, while Badger is ranked 265th). Harding won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. Hopefully Maplewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday.
