Danielle Palisin was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.
Palisin wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Naomi Muck, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Muck has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Fredonia's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Haverling, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.
