It was an underclassman who stole the show on Monday as Jozi Thompson came into the game on a mission. She wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with eight or more strikeouts.
