Embrie Bednar posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
